Tarig is also a leader in Islamic Finance and Insurance frameworks, and has served as member of the board for the Saudi Sudanese Bank from 2009 to 2015.
He has also presented papers and held discussions in London Takaful Summit each year from 2017 to 2019, as well as contributed at the African International Conference in Abuja (2017), Lagos (2019), and Nairobi/Addis Ababa (2020).
Prior to his leadership role serving on the board of various organizations, Tarig was Managing Director of United Insurance Company, Director at Agritech and at Sultan Agriculture Project.
Tarig also served in the role of General Manager of the Regency Hotel, a 4-star 100-room property in the heart of Khartoum, Sudan. During his tenure from 2002 to 2012, Tarig drove extensive renovations and expansions.
